About Me

Ciao!My name is Angie (they/them) and I'm a publishing professional. I'm currently accepting freelance work for marketing, event and social media management for contracts starting in August 2025.I have a BA in English and Related Literature from The University of York, an MA in Issues in Modern Culture from UCL, and an MA in Publishing and Creative Writing from City, University of London. Additionally, I'm professionally trained in the use of Photoshop and InDesign.I've delivered high-profile marketing campaigns for Looking Glass Sound by bestselling author Catriona Ward and #1 UK bestseller MURDLE by G.T. Karber, which has won two Nibbies Awards for Best Book of the Year and Best Nonfiction. I was awarded a Highly Commended award from the Book Marketing Society in 2023 for my work on Murdle, lauding the campaign as "creativity incarnate" for its strong branding, interactivity, and cross-industry engagement.The last couple of years have seen me co-founding and managing The Common Press Bookshop - a queer, intersectional bookshop - and volunteering for queer indie micropublisher Knight Errant Press. Other clients I've worked with include Penguin Random House, Hachette UK, Little Tiger Books, Bloomsbury, Head of Zeus, Profile Books, HarperCollins, Cipher Press, Inkandescent, and Tandem Collective.In my free time, I enjoy windsurfing and sailing, sewing, D&D, videogames, and playing with my cat.
